When viewing these listings on myhome.ge you need to read carefully and between the lines. Some listings are for daily rentals near the ski resorts or in Tbilisi. However, if you page through you will find very good deals on all kinds of properties. The best deals are on properties outside of the main towns. Remember that these areas are all safe areas and most areas are close to a main road or highway for quick and easy commute to the cities.

Beach Front Rentals

• A nice - fully furnished - large - one bedroom apartment - 50+ square meters with a balcony is between R2,000 & R2,500. per month.

• The beachfront area near the old town is more expensive - but anywhere along the esplanade is super and safe.

• There are shops, restaurants, malls, banks, hotels, casinos, open air gyms and pool tables, parks, a zoo, botanical gardens, lakes, tennis clubs, beach clubs, permanent fun-fare and even a dolphinarium within walking distance or - on the beachfront.

• Trains, busses and taxis are all very good - plentiful - on time and inexpensive.

• Beach and harbour fishing as well as boat rental & charters are at very low costs.

• Batumi is perfect place to holiday or live in and retire to.

• There are two opera houses, museums, super shopping, great coffee bars, night clubs and the street food is amazing and ridiculously cheap.

• Batumi is very safe day or night and is designed for wheel chair access almost everywhere. The markets and bazaars are wonderful to shop and browse in and complement the 1st-world malls very nicely.

Furnished Apartments

• Is that you take short term accommodation while you buy a car and get to know the country.

• Property rentals are cheaper in Batumi than Tbilisi if you sign a one year lease. Batumi is a holiday destination, as such the rentals are far higher during their holiday periods.

• For most South Africans who prefer having a bit more privacy and space you can find very nice accommodation 20 minutes out of Tbilisi or Batumi town at very reasonable (incredible) rates. All areas are safe.
